Clear Creek Distillery Video
This is a 17-minute video interview of Stephen McCarthy, proprietor of Clear Creek Distillery. Join us as we taste barrels of the peaty whiskey made in Portland, Oregon that Jim Murray rates a 94.5 in the 2011 Whisky Bible. Hear the origins of this 3-year old single malt which is aged in a combination of Oregon Oak and used Cognac barrels, from a wash provided by local brewer Widmer Brothers and made from peated malted barley from Scotland. Also see how the Clear Creek Distillery makes Eau De Vie. Pour a dram and enjoy!
